FAQ
Q: I am a previous user of Scoretracker version 1.x would like to know if I need to uninstall my old software first?
A: Sometimes this may be required but not usually. Before installing any new updates, or upgrade ALWAYS backup your data prior to doing so.
Q: I am a previous user of Scoretracker version 1.x and just purchased a computer with Windows XP. Can I use Scoretracker on this computer?
A: Scoretracker version 1.x does NOT run on Windows XP. To use Scoretracker on Windows XP you must purchase Scoretracker 2003 or later.
Q: I have downloaded the demo and now I would like to purchase. Will I be able to keep the information I have already entered?
A: Yes, Just order the software and once you receive the CD just run the installation program and your data will be kept intact.
 
Known Issues
Issue Workaround
When attempting to backup my data I receive a "file not found" error. This error occurs on Windows XP & some Windows 98 Machines. There is no current fix available for this but there is a workaround. Just manually copy the file named fore.fgs from your program directory to your desired backup location. Once a fix becomes available for this a patch update will be released and all registered users will be notified.
When attempting to run a report I receive a uo_date_range object error. If you are a registered user then download the patch update. If you are a demo user then re-download the demo.
After deleting the sample data I get an error when I try to enter or while using the course mangement center. My reports also do not work. This is due to deleting courses a tee box at a time rather than by selecting(highlight) the actual course. This action will corrupt your database and can only be fixed by contacting us for instructions. Please visit our contact page.
I am a previously user of version 1.x. After I installed the new version and attempted to run the program for the first time I received an "Sybase Adaptive Server Driver not Found" Error. What do I do next? Just un-install and re-install the software and everything will load correctly.
